Nanoscience and technology has become an interdisciplinary field of science, in particular physics and
materials science, which provides an extensive knowledge on the manipulation of
matter on an atomic, molecular, and supramolecular scale. The interdisciplinary nature of this field is
driving progress in the materials, instrumentation, electronics, healthcare,
defense, sensors, manufacturing, energy, and environment areas. In fact, it is not a new field to exist;
nevertheless, it explored the possibility of formulating devices with enhanced
properties.
